  I have used the Documents app for some time now, but only recently became aware of the fact that I cannot permanently delete data I have removed from the app via the in app deletion tools. I have done the initial deletion, and and so the secondary "permanent" deletion, only the information itself nonetheless remains somewhere in the iPad. Here is an case of what I mean. Recently I needed more infinite on my iPad. I checked how much storage the Documents app was taking upwardly, noting the total being used was half-dozen.98 gigs.   I found that I could zip my folders and salvage them to my laptop. Then I deleted the documents app, re-downloaded & re-installed the app and restored my folders. Working fine at present. Restoring the folders from the zip file also restored all the sub-folders & files. I did demand to create multiple zilch files, my original zip of the unabridged database was probably also big. It zipped up just I received an error message when I attempted to restore information technology. ————————————————- App used to work slap-up but starting a couple of months ago information technology started locking up on me when doing diverse things similar selecting multiple files to move or delete, converting jpeg files to pdf, deleting files while viewing them, using the scanner, etc. Requires a reboot of my iphone to right the problem simply information technology is not long before it freezes up once again.
